About Milestone Counseling
The therapists at Milestone Counseling have a wide and varied experience of working with children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals. We have all worked in a variety of therapeutic environments before creating Milestone Counseling. We hope we have achieved our goal of creating an environment that we like to describe as "professionally casual." We are sincere about our professionalism, yet want clients to feel comfortable and at home.

Greta Kramer
MS, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Hello! I'm Greta Kramer. I've been practicing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past 20 years. As a therapist it is extremely important to me that my clients feel safe, heard, and validated. It's not easy to walk in and tell your story to a stranger. The fact that anyone shows up at all completely amazes me, because it is so brave! Areas of special interest include: ADHD, anxiety, trauma therapy, and couples therapy. I am trained in EMDR, Narrative Therapy, DBT skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am trained in Level I Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I also use a sand tray and play therapy in my therapeutic work. I currently see children ages 6-17, adults and couples. With some creative energy, and a bit of wit and wisdom, I hope to help you achieve your desired goals.

She is also a Registered Play Therapist and works with children ages 6 and up. Denise has studied and been approved by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Board of Behavioral Health as a clinical supervisor for those who are pursuing licensure in marriage and family therapy. Our Mission Statement
A need for change presents itself in our lives in many different ways. It may sneak up on us quietly or pound loudly on our door, demanding our attention. However it appears, the need for change can be overwhelming, scary, and also exciting. Our goal is to provide clients with a safe and nurturing space in which to explore that need for change. Change may come in the form of healing, knowledge, personal growth, or skill development. Whatever the form of change, each child, adolescent, individual, couple, or family can trust that they will be treated with respect and dignity as we work together toward achieving your highest potential. We will honor your life stories and diversity. We will help you harness your courage and deep strength. We will commit ourselves to helping you achieve your personal goals through creativity, caring, knowledge, inspiration, and laughter.
